I have been using my new impact driver for about 2 months now and it really is a pretty good tool for me. I’ve been able to build a lot of stuff without having to charge the batteries very often. In fact, the amount of time that I’m able to get out of the battery charges is almost unbelievable. At any rate, I would recommend that you get a couple of different batteries for this, so that you can use this drill continuously without having to worry about charging batteries and waiting while you charge. The batteries will charge up really fast, much faster than it takes to use one up, so it’s not that hard to have continuous usage of this drill. That is why it is such a thrill to use. It seemed like with my older tools, not so much this makita impact driver, I would need to spend more time waiting for batteries to charge than anything else.
